How does Sparklite pricing work?
We believe in growing with our users, which is why Sparklite pricing is built on usage. Each plan comes with a number of API requests that are included in the subscription. If your usage goes beyond your plan, no worries! We’ll add a small fee for on-demand usage that’s tallied up at the end of the month.
Please note that our Free plan does not include the ability to flex past 250 API requests per month.
How is the number of API requests counted?
Once you have integrated your API to a third-party application, Sparklite will start counting the number of requests made to the API. In short, an API request is counted every time someone is using your app pulls information from Sparklite.
What is a filled cell and how do you count them?
We define filled cells as cells in your file that have text or figures in them. Each plan allows users to convert increasingly more complex files with a maximum number of filled cells per file.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! If you subscribe to our yearly plans you’ll save 20% on the subscription fee. You can also upgrade to our Professional plan to receive a 40% discount for on-demand API requests.
Are there any volume discounts on API requests?
Our pricing is made with scalability in mind. When you exceed your allocated number of API requests, additional requests are priced at $0.50 per 1,000 API requests on the Starter plan, and $0.30 per 1,000 API requests on the Professional plan. If you exceed 100,000 monthly requests on either plan, it is $0.10 per 1,000 API requests.
What happens if I exceed my usage in API requests?
Not to worry! If you are on a paid plan, you won’t experience any interruptions with your APIs no matter how many API requests are made.
If you are on the Free plan, there is a cap at 250 requests. After you hit that cap, you’ll get a grace period of 7 days, but after that your API will be paused until the next month, or immediately upon upgrading to a paid plan.
